Britney Spears as a Bridesmaid in the Wedding of Frank Lionetti and Brett Miller
Having made her way to the sunshine state to support her loved ones, Britney Spears walked down the aisle as a bridesmaid in Miami, Florida on Saturday.With the ceremony being held at The Spanish Monastery, the "Gimme More" singer partook in the lovely exchange of vows between Frank Lionetti and assistant Brett Miller. Not making the trip by her lonesome, Miss Spears' boyfriend, Jason Trawick, was also in attendance as he intently watched on from his seat.
Henry Cavill cast as Superman
Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures have found their new Man of Steel. Deadline had been hearing for the past weeks that Henry Cavill was the frontrunner for the much coveted Clark Kent/Superman role in this mich anticipated reboot. But as of last week, Warner Bros film chief Jeff Robinov hadn't seen Cavill's or the other screentests and made his decision in recent days. Repped by CAA, Cavill just wrapped production on The Cold Light of Day and stars in the upcoming Immortals, opening this fall. Directed by Tarsem Sing, Caville in Immortals plays the he-man Greek warrior Theseus who battles mythological gods including Poseidon, Zeus, Minotaur, and Herecles.Given that set up, Warner Bros clearly has chosen a more macho leading man for Superman than the previous Brandon Routh. Cavill also has a past with Superman. Before Bryan Singer came on to direct Superman Returns and cast Brandon Routh, Cavill had been one of the frontrunner choices for directers Brett Ratner and McG when they were going to helm the picture. That Superman was younger, and this time, the intention was to cast an actor near 30. Cavill will be 28 this year, so things worked out just right for him.
The new film from Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures is being produced by Christopher Nolan and directed by Zack Snyder, who made this statement: “In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen. I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.” Other producers include Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay is being written by David S. Goyer based on a story by Goyer and Nolan. Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers. The new Superman is targeted for release in December 2012. Saturday, January 29, 2011

Taraji P. Henson's New PETA Ad
She’s the latest celebrity to join PETA’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” ad campaign, and Taraji P. Henson looks super fine in her new photos.
The “Karate Kid” babe said she changed her outlook on animal rights after viewing the “I Am an Animal” documentary.
Ms. Henson shared, "Before I saw that documentary, I would wear fur. But I saw this documentary, and I was riveted. I cried. Could you imagine somebody ripping your hair out, while you're still awake, fully conscious? It's ridiculous, for the sake of fashion."
"I don't think a living being should suffer for the sake of fashion, period. End of story. You don't have to kill an animal just because you want to be hot and fly. And I really stand by that."

Going about the day's agenda, Kim Kardashian was spotted out and about in Studio City, CA on Thursday afternoon. The E! reality star looked casual cute in torn jeans and a brown leather jacket with her hair in a bun as she popped into a local office building for a midday meeting.
Britney Spears and BF Jason Trawick Flying out of LAX
Britney Spears and Jason Trawick stuck together to board a flight out of LAX earlier yesterday. She's off on an adventure with Jason after spending time this week in a dance studio filming the video for "Hold It Against Me" — Brit even tweeted a sneak peek to her fans. Her first rough cut is expected any day, though it looks like she and Jason may be off relaxing on another tropical vacation when they get a glimpse. Brit's fully focused on her upcoming album, and recently relieved herself of her Candie's modeling duties. The torch was passed to Vanessa Hudgens, whose skin-baring ads debuted yesterday.
