First Look: Purr, The New Fragrance By Katy Perry

Katy Perry has slipped into a latex catsuit to promote the launch of her new fragrance, Purr.The pop star is pictured crawling around in the one-piece, complete with a tail and ears, alongside a huge ball of hot pink yarn for the ad, which was shot by photographer Miles Aldridge.The shoot was inspired by the cat-shaped fragrance bottle, which features bejewelled eyes and purple colouring. It is the singer's first fragrance and it is set to be released in November.

Rihanna throws Bachelorette Party for Katy Perry in Vegas

Katy Perry's days of the single life are dwindling away, and on Saturday she celebrated her rite of passage: her bachelorette party.Perry, sporting a veil from the bottom of the back of her bikini (think a peacock), arrived at Las Vegas's Hard Rock Hotel Beach Club pool with an entourage of 25 who included Rihanna and inflatable objects consistent with bachelorette parties.



Lounging in the VIP cabana in 95-degree temperatures, the group went largely unnoticed while sipping champagne, beer and vodka and munching on finger foods.Perry, wearing a white bikini and sunglasses, appeared at ease, but she may have been bracing for a bit more drinking later in the night. Shortly after arriving at the pool, she Tweeted, "Signing up for a liver transplant now."

Russell Brand is having a bad travel day.


The actor allegedly got into a tussle with a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday afternoon, then was placed under arrest by the photographer.

Airport police responded to a "report of a battery involving a celebrity and a commercial photographer" and the alleged victim made a "private person's arrest," according to a police statement.

Officers made it official with their own arrest and the Get Him to the Greek star was hauled in for booking.

Living it up in the Caribbean, Katy Perry was spotted flaunting her curvaceous bikini body while out in the Bahamas on Sunday.Clad in a cute little two-piece swimsuit, the "Hot n Cold" singer seemed to be having a marvelous time with friends as they hit the water slides at The Cove at the Atlantis Resort.

The fun in the sun follows a performance at the popular vacation destination the previous night, as Miss Perry took the stage at for the opening of Cain at The Cove and AURA.Having flown into town on Friday alongside her brother, Miss Perry happily tweeted of the trip,

"BERMUDA, BAHAMAS, CUMMON BABY MAMA!"

Katy Perry took to Twitter to air her issues with Gaga's use of Madonnaesque use of Catholic imagery:

'Alejandro' features Gaga dressed in a latex nun's habit, sucking on rosary beads and at the center of a gay orgy dressed in a crucifix-emblazoned robe with a cross over her crotch.

The teaser for Katy Perry's 'California Gurls' video, in which frosting shoots from her breasts, was also released Tuesday.

The 'Hot N Cold' singer has dispelled rumor about her Indian wedding party that was sparked by best friend Rihanna, saying 'She thought we were getting married in India because we got engaged there.'

Katy Perry has revealed that her best friend Rihanna has got the wrong idea about where she and fiance Russell Brand will hold their upcoming nuptials. On Monday, May 24, the 25-year-old singer poured cold water to the rumor first spread by the "Rude Boy" singer when talking to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.

"We haven't sent out anything but I heard a rumor that someone dropped where we were getting married," she told the radio host as referring to Rihanna's previous remark to Ryan which dished her wedding location. "I haven't told her where we're getting married actually. She thought we were getting married in India because we got engaged there."
