Foot Loose: Michelle Williams Joins British Dancing Show

Former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams is returning to the U.K. this fall to appear on the dance competition series 'Strictly Come Dancing.'The talent contest, similar to 'Dancing With the Stars,' kicks off on Sept. 10.

"Michelle is a great booking for us -- as she's an amazing dancer and extremely glamorous. We said that we were aiming big this year, and we hope fans of the show will realize that with a booking like her," a source close to the production told Britain's Sun.

The Rockford, Ill.-bred singer returns to London almost a year after her stint as the first African American woman to play Roxie Hart in 'Chicago' in London's West End.Williams resumed her role in the Broadway version of 'Chicago' this past February for three months, before joining the touring cast for the Los Angeles run shortly thereafter.Following her appearance on 'Strictly Come Dancing,' the 30-year-old singer will return to the United States to begin working on her new pop CD.~Jawn Murray

Kelly Rowland Responds to Mathew Knowles' Destiny's Child Statement

When Internet rumors surfaced about a Destiny's Child reunion, BV Buzz reported that there wasn't going to be a reunion after we received a statement from Music World Entertainment CEO Mathew Knowles, who shot down the report.


Well, according to founding member Kelly Rowland, Knowles is not the one who will be making that decision.

"Mathew Knowles is not a member of Destiny's Child," Rowland said in a video interview with gossip blogger Perez Hilton. "With all due respect, that's not a decision he can make. It would be amongst myself, Beyonce and Michelle."
