Chris Brown's Mother Apologizes For Michael Jackson Tweet Comment

Joyce Hawkins says she was 'misunderstood' after tweeting 'Michael Jackson died so that Chris Brown could live!!!'

Like son, like mother. Just as impertinent social media posts have often tripped up Chris Brown, his mother, Joyce Hawkins, set off a 140-character tempest this week with some provocative comments she made about her famous offspring's musical hero.

It all began on Tuesday, when Hawkins tweeted the phrase "Michael Jackson died so that Chris Brown could live!!!" The comment about the June 2009 death of Jackson has since been taken down, but not before it elicited a raft of harsh comments for Breezy's mom.

I always thought Chris was adorable…till the Rihanna incident that is. I know everyone makes mistakes but somehow he’s charmed us yet again. But  looks like he still has many fans considering he’s third on our poll and third on Billboard’s Sexiest Man in music poll (in no particular order of importance :p)

I know you guys are going to think I’m blind but I really don’t see why Channing  is “soooo hot!”. Yes, he has a great body but who in Hollywood doesn’t? As for his face, I think it’s nice but haven’t we all seen better? He has lovely eyes but..meh…that’s about it…AND Oh yeah he's taken...Dammit Jenna...she's had him since the get go in Step Up!

Chris Brown Lands First #1 Hit In Four Years

Chris Brown has officially landed the top spot on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for the first time in four years.

The R&B crooner's hit “Deuces” with Tyga and Kevin McCall slid into the No.1 spot today after nine weeks on the charts, tying with Monica's “Everything To Me” for the fastest climb to No. 1 for Hip-Hop and R&B this year.

Brown's last number one hit was “Say Goodbye” which held the No. 1 spot for six weeks in 2006.
As previously reported, Brown's movie “Takers” also took the No. 1 spot in the box office this weekend.
Looks like his BET comeback performance worked…

Chris Brown Releases 'Deuces' Music Video

Chris Brown has just dropped a music video for his latest song "Deuces". In the glossy black-and-white clip directed by Colin Tilley, the 21-year-old singer appeared together with Kevin McCall and Lil Wayne's protege Tyga.

In the polished clip, the ex-boyfriend of Rihanna shows off his flexibility by doing some flips and more. Collaborator Tyga previously told MTV about the song, saying that "it's about you getting rid of this girl. You try to make it work, but you gotta move on. So you basically put up one finger, then another and say, 'Deuces'." -Source
