Bret Michaels' determination to be present on the finale of "The Celebrity Apprentice" despite his health condition has been paid off. In the end, Trump revealed Bret beat out Peete as he "hired" the rocker. Along with his new "Celebrity Apprentice" crown, the reality star also won $250,000 for his charity of choice, the American Diabetes Association. Celebrity-Mania
Though Bret was the one taking the title, Peete didn't walk out empty handed. She was told during the finale that her charity, the HollyRod Foundation, is also receiving the same amount of money Bret's won to support those with autism. Bret's teammate for the final task, Darryl Strawberry, also received $25,000 for his foundation in reward to his triumphant return to the show.
